Unless you are a VIP with a ticket, you won't be able to attend in person Saturday's commissioning of the USS New York into active Navy service, but it will be streamed live on navy.mil.
The 11 a.m. ceremony will be at Piers 86 and 88 in Manhattan, where the new amphibious assault ship is docked, along with the retired aircraft carrier Intrepid.
