World leaders hope for climate deal

At least 40 world leaders have said they will attend climate change talks in Denmark next month, but there are still fears that there will be few tangible results after preparatory meetings ended with scant progress.

The weeklong talks in Barcelona, which ended on Friday, exposed the divide between rich and developing nations on sharing the burden of proposed cuts in emission of gases believed to cause global warming.
