VAIL, Colo. — A man opened fire inside a bar near the ski town of Vail Saturday night, killing one person and wounding three others, police said. A suspect was quickly arrested.
Police said the shooting erupted about 7:30 p.m. at the Sandbar Sports Grill, a popular bar that can hold more than 200 people.
Witnesses told the Vail Daily newspaper that a man was being escorted out of the bar when he pulled a gun and fired shots and left. Then he re-entered and fired several more shots, about 10 in all.
