SALT LAKE CITY -- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service hascompleted its yearly evaluation of plants and animals that areconsidered candidates for listing under the Endangered SpeciesAct.
The Fish and Wildlife Service says four species are no longercandidates for ESA protection, while five species have been addedand eight have received a change in priority since December2008.
In Utah, the fat whorled pondsnail is one of the four speciesremoved from candidate list.
