Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama intends todiscuss human rights, religious freedom and democratic valueswhen he meets with Chinese President Hu Jintao in Beijing nextweek, a senior White House official said.
“The president will raise human rights concerns directly,directly with President Hu,” said Jeffrey Bader, seniordirector for East Asian affairs at the president’s NationalSecurity Council.
