Pacquiao's trainer wants Mayweather showdown

(CNN) -- Manny Pacquiao's trainer wants the Filipino fighter to take on undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr following Saturday night's one-sided win over WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao joined the American as one of only five boxers to win major titles at five different weight divisions, and a clash between the two should resolve any dispute as to who is the best pound-for-pound fighter.
