Nash powers Suns past Mavericks

Steve Nash finished with 19 points and 11 assists while Amare Stoudemire scored 22 points to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 112-106 win over Dallas.

"We needed this win because we have been down," Nash said. "In sports and in life when you have confidence you have got a chance. We had an attitude and a spirit about us tonight. Our energy was fantastic."

Jason Richardson added 17 points for the Suns who ended a two game losing streak and a three game skid against Dallas. Phoenix also got help from its bench as Goran Dragic scored 13 points and Louis Amundson finished with 12.
