Jay Leno, David Letterman and Oprah Winfrey sure were a funny sight Sunday.
But the making of the most exciting 15 seconds of the Super Bowl XLIV broadcast was surprisingly free of behind-the-scenes drama, according to Rob Burnett, producer of CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman."
"If anything was awkward, it was how it wasn't awkward," Burnett told EW.com about the effort to re-create Letterman and Winfrey's 2007 Super Bowl spot while adding NBC's Leno.
