The world's greatest golfer was dumped Friday by the sports drink company, just one week after Woods' public apology for a string of sordid extramarital affairs.

It's the latest financial blow to Woods, already abandoned by major sponsors AT&T and Accenture.

Woods - once featured in Gatorade ads with fellow stars Michael Jordan and Peyton Manning - signed a reported five-year, $100 million deal with the company in 2007.

Coming as little surprise, Gatorade has decided to cut Tiger Woods from their list of endorsers.

A Gatorade spokeswoman told the Associated Press on Friday, 'I can confirm that we no longer see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship. We wish Tiger all the best.'

This is the third loss for Woods, who has already been dropped by Gillette and global consulting firm Accenture.

The Droid hits the streets today. The Droid does tethering (or at least it will very soon), but the cost will surprise people.

At first glance, and based on initial reviews, the Droid seems to be a very capable device. LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - All the Emmys, critics' raves and marketing efforts are starting to pay off for AMC's beloved drama series "Mad Men."

Sunday night's Season 3 premiere saw a significant viewership increase -- up 33 percent from last year, to 2.8 million viewers. That's the show's largest audience ever.

Adding the viewership numbers from the premiere and AMC's two repeats of the episode, "Mad Men" garnered 4 million viewers, up 29 percent from the cumulative audience for last year's premiere episode. AMC also noted that its create-your-own "Mad Men" avatar was downloaded 485,000 times.
