March 16 (Bloomberg) -- Royal Dutch Shell Plc set Chief Executive Officer Peter Voser's salary and bonus at 3.36 million euros ($4.6 million) last year, less than what his counterpart at BP Plc earned.

Voser's salary was set at 1.5 million euros when he took over as CEO on July 1 and his bonus for the year was 1.864 million euros, Shell said today in its annual report. Voser elected to take half his bonus in Shell shares. BP CEO Tony Hayward received 4 million pounds ($6 million) in cash and shares last year.

A previously unknown militant group claimed responsibility for the attack Tuesday on the Kokori oil flow station, operated by a Shell subsidiary in Nigeria. Shell spokesman Tony Okonedo said the flow station was not in use and was unmanned at the time of the explosion, so there were no injuries.

Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Royal Dutch Shell Plc's Nigerian unit halted some flow stations in the country's southern oil region after sabotage caused a pipeline leak.

"We have shut in some flow stations which produce into the line and the leak has stopped," Precious Okolobo, Shell's spokesman in Nigeria, said today in an e-mailed statement. "Repair work will commence as soon as possible."

The leak was detected Jan. 30, the same day the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, the main rebel group in the region, said it was ending an "indefinite cease-fire" after three months. No group has claimed responsibility for sabotaging Shell's pipeline.
