Classmates (2006) is a Malayalam film by Lal Jose, and written by James Albert. Lal Jose's Classmates, as the title suggests, is a campus based film that revolves around a group of friends. The movie has an ensemble cast which includes Prithviraj, Narain, Indrajith, Jayasurya and Kavya Madhavan among others.

The story revolves around a batch of students, graduates of the class of 1992. Working in different corners of the world, the friends get together to revive the joy and laughter of their student days.It is known as one of the biggest blockbusters in South Indian Film Industry and is continually referred to in popular culture.

Murali (Narain) with his golden voice is the doyen of the college campus. P. Sukumaran (Prithviraj) is a firebrand student leader with leanings towards the left. Satheesan (Jayasurya) leads the opposite faction. Vasu (Vijeesh) is his trusted crony. Pius (Indrajith), a rich and spoiled brat and son of Gulf settled parents, is the campus Romeo. Thara Kurup (Kavya Madhavan) is the daughter of the local MLA and a danseuse who wins numerous awards for the college with her performance. Esthappanachan (Jagathy Sreekumar) is the hostel warden.
